Textiles 8 has two types of assignments:
A. Writing assignments
  1. Laundry steps
  2. Colour assignment

B. Applied assignments
  1. Sew on a button
  2. Hem a pant leg
  3. Iron a shirt
  4. Sewing machine operator's licence
  5. Sample 1: Open seam - clean finish
  6. Sample 2: Open seam - zigzagged finish
  7. Sample 3: Double-stitched seam
  8. Pencil case

All of these assignments need to be completed by the end of the course.

There is no particular order except for the "sewing machine operator's licence" must be completed before any sewing machine work (#5 - 8) are attempted.

I suggest that you use the writing assignments and the first three applied assignments to fill in your time when you cannot get a sewing machine or ironing board to work on.
